THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ANYONE WHO NEEDS FOOD!
In the Bible, Jesus said, “[f]or I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink . . . I needed clothes and you clothed me . . . whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” See Matthew 25:35-40.
With the help of USDA and Feeding America, in collaboration with St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, and under the leadership of Rev. Carl Walcott of North Tampa Christian Fellowship, CHMC ministers to the community by distributing food, clothing, and household items. The food panty also provides opportunities to develop leadership skills, and we partner with insurance companies, educational institutions, and local government to provide nutritional education. This program does not discriminate against anyone who needs food, and we strive to treat each person with courtesy and respect.
